Hydrovolt enters into partnership with Ragn-Sells
Hydrovolt has entered into a cooperation agreement with Ragn-Sells covering the collection, storage, and transport of used electric vehicle batteries, as part of a new initiative targeting the Swedish market.
Ragn-Sells is one of Sweden’s leading recycling companies, with a presence throughout the country. The partnership will ensure efficient and safe collection of high-energy batteries from electric vehicles from all relevant collection points across Sweden.

Together, we will become a leading service provider for the handling of all types of high-energy batteries in Sweden,” says Hans Bjerkaas, Chief Commercial and Development Officer at Hydrovolt.
The cooperation agreement ensures efficient and optimized transport and logistics services related to the handling of end-of-life electric vehicle batteries. The batteries will be transported to Hydrovolt’s facility in Fredrikstad from one of Ragn-Sells’ export hubs, thereby ensuring environmentally sound management of the batteries through recycling solutions.

Through our collaboration with Hydrovolt, we can ensure that end-of-life electric vehicle batteries are handled in a safe and resource-efficient manner. Together, we are taking an important step toward building a circular battery value chain in Sweden,” says Thomas Kahlqvist, Business Project Manager at Ragn-Sells.
For both companies, the partnership is part of a broader strategic focus on the battery recycling market in Sweden. The cooperation agreement between Hydrovolt and Ragn-Sells will be valid for the next three years.
